Manager Sales & Customer Projects
AIM Sweden AB is a growing innovation company specializing in industrial Additive Manufacturing (3D printing), acting both as inventor of revolutionary tooling systems and contract manufacturer. Our mission is to support customers in selected target markets to capture the full potential of Additive Manufacturing. We support our customers from initial idea, through feasibility studies, application development and qualification to serial production – we call that journey Production through Knowledge.
Our customers are found in various industrial segments, while our main focus is Orthopedics and Molded Fiber. We are ISO9001 and ISO13485 certified and provide serial production of orthopedic implants. A high-quality standard is the foundation of everything we do.
Job description
Your main responsibility is to drive sales towards set sales budgets, primarily in AIM Sweden’s selected target markets Orthopedics and Molded Fiber. This responsibility includes market intelligence, lead generation, development of existing business opportunities practicing relationship selling, drafting proposals/contracts and contract negotiations. The lead generation activities typically include mapping up key players in our target markets, frequent visits to potential and existing customers and participation in conferences and trade shows.
Frequent travelling will be required.
Our market is truly international with the US as our largest national market.
In addition to our current target markets, you are also expected to scout for additional segments and applications where additive manufacturing and AIM Sweden can bring value.
Our sales activities typically lead to the initiation of customer projects aiming at qualifying long-term supply agreements with our customers. The responsibility of this role also includes managing these customer projects to ensure the timely completion of agreed deliverables.
You will be part AIM Sweden’s management team and as such you will also have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s strategic and operational development.
Requirements
We are looking for a person who is highly motivated, self-driven and has a strong customer and commercial focus. You also need to be comfortable discussing a wide range of subjects with international customers.
Prior experience in B2B sales is a requirement, while experience from additive manufacturing, orthopedics and/or molded fiber would be considered a significant strength but not a requirement.
In addition, the successful candidate needs to:
- have significant prior international sales experience
- be passionate about business development and closing deals
- have a strong commercial focus
- have good technical understanding
- be a team player, enjoying interacting with the rest of the team
- fluent in English
- a mature and well-structured team player with a passion for innovation and business development
